My last afternoon with the 70-200 VR - just as I felt I was getting to know it... This shot was taken with the 1.7x teleconverter (340mm, F/5, 1/250s @ ISO 320 hand held).
The problem with using the 70-200 VR is that normal "grab" shots like this one would be considered exceptional for most other lenses. It's going to be hard going back, even if only for a while...
