2006-05-24 - Festival of Speed

Our last day in New Zealand and we had some time to kill before our flight home. It just so happened that the Southern Festival of Speed street race was happening in Dundedin that day so I went along to check it out. This was my first chance to photograph a proper street race and I was hoping for some good action shots. Unfortunately, no matter where I went, I couldn't find a good vantage point that was clear of concrete barriers and wire fences. Safety first I guess.
