2007-03-13 - Torrential Downpour

Recently, on my way home from work, I found myself driving through some torrential rain. The droplets were really big and it was so heavy that I could hardly see where I was going. Since I was passing the local shopping centre car park I decided to stop and wait for visibility to improve.

What to do while waiting? Take some photos, of course! I didn't have a tripod and it was quite dark so about all I managed was this shot at ISO 3200 and 1/5s, F/4. I don't use these settings very often but I'm impressed with the way the D200 handles the noise.
