2007-06-18 - Changi Jungle
Drowsy travellers arriving at Changi Airport in Singapore could be mistaken for thinking that they'd arrived at some sort of half-jungle, half-airport structure. Pictured here are just a few of the many thousands of orchids and plants that lavish the whole airport. At first the plants look so good that you think they must be fake. However, they are all real and I can only imagine the effort required to keep everything in such top condition. The overall effect is very nice and calming and really contrasts with other airports like London's Heathrow... (which just so happened to be our next destination)
