2005-12-01 - Storm Glow

On a recent trip to the beach, I was watching a thunderstorm roll in on dusk. Everything was really dull and I thought the light was gone for the day when all of a sudden, the most surreal yellow light started filtering through the storm clouds. It wasn't the normal golden light of a sunset either; it was much more intense.

It started to rain as we were leaving so I only had a moment to take some shots. This hopefully gives some idea of the light on the day - the colours are real.
