2007-05-07 - A Touch of Autumn
Another shot from the garden, taken in the last light of the day — once again I was testing out my new tripod. Although I like the freedom of working without a tripod, it really can make a huge difference and I'm glad to finally have a decent setup. Of course, even the best tripod in the world isn't going to help against natural enemy #1: the wind. It can be quite frustrating trying to get a sharp photo when the wind keeps blowing and shaking the whole plant just as I'm about to take a shot. I had to compromise with this shot and go with less depth of field to get a faster shutter speed and therefore a sharper image.
