2008-02-28 - Death of a Lighthouse

The closing ceremony at the Woodford Folk Festival was a spectacular event, with an emphasis on fire. The climax of the show came when the large wooden lighthouse that had been watching over the amphitheatre was set alight. It took a while for it finally fall but I managed to catch the sequence. All shots were taken hand-held, with a little help from Nikon's VR :-)
