Hybrid Vision: Photo Log by Stephen Cameron

While out walking near Campinas in Brazil, I came across this rather amusing scene and I couldn't resist a photo. I love the expression and relaxed yet confident pose of this dog. He looks pretty pleased with life... That leads me to wonder about the expression "it's a dog's life" and where it comes from. It has quite negative connotations, yet almost all the dogs I come across seem to have great lives. I wonder if the meaning of the phrase will eventually change to become something more positive...
